ACTUARUS

Security & architecture

An architecture designed so ACTUARUS never has a hand on your funds.

Non-custodial, simply put

Your funds are locked in an immutable smart contract, not in an ACTUARUS account. The code releases them according to rules set in advance and signed by both parties — no one, not even ACTUARUS, can unlock them unilaterally.

ACTUARUS's limited role

ACTUARUS is neither a payment institution nor a custodian: the platform holds no client-funds account and never takes possession of the money.

  • We orchestrate the contract, the proof and the timestamp.
  • Payment execution rests solely with the smart contract.
  • We can neither lock nor unlock funds outside the signed rules.

Immutable smart contract

Lock-in and release rules are set in the code before the transaction and can't be changed unilaterally.

Polygon network

Transactions run on Polygon, a public blockchain, for low fees and fast confirmation.

Yousign electronic signature

Every contract is electronically signed by both parties via Yousign, giving it evidentiary, enforceable value.

Timestamping

Every step — agreement, lock-in, verification, release — is timestamped and viewable in the asset's history.
